Post-Peeling Aftercare

Achieve luminous, beautiful skin with the right skincare after your treatment

Aftercare Guide

Post-Treatment Care

Your skin is extremely delicate after a chemical peel. Proper care supports recovery and maximizes treatment results.

1

Always Apply Sunscreen

After a peel, your skin is highly sensitive to UV rays. Always apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher when going outdoors, and reapply frequently. Sunscreen is recommended even indoors if you're near windows.

2

Moisturize Thoroughly

Your skin's barrier function is temporarily weakened after treatment. Use moisturizers containing ceramides or hyaluronic acid to keep skin well-hydrated. Reapply moisturizing cream as needed when you feel dryness.

3

Use Gentle Skincare Products

For approximately one week after treatment, use alcohol-free, fragrance-free, gentle skincare products. Temporarily avoid potent ingredients such as retinol or high-concentration vitamin C serums.

Caution

Things to Avoid

Please note the following to avoid diminishing treatment results.

⚠️

No Scrubs or Exfoliants for 24 Hours

Your skin has already been exfoliated after the peel. Using scrubs or exfoliating products places excessive stress on your skin. Avoid them for at least 24 hours—preferably several days.

⚠️

Avoid Direct Sunlight

Post-peel skin is more vulnerable to UV damage, increasing the risk of pigmentation. Use hats or parasols, and avoid prolonged outdoor activities whenever possible.

⚠️

Do Not Rub the Treated Area

Avoid rubbing your skin during cleansing or towel drying. Gently press and pat to minimize friction. If skin begins to peel, do not forcibly remove it.

Recommended Schedule

Recommended Next Treatment Schedule

🔄

Intensive Care Period

For optimal results, schedule treatments approximately every two weeks for a series of four sessions. Aligning with your skin's natural turnover cycle helps improve dullness, pores, and acne scars more noticeably.

Maintenance Period

After intensive care, monthly treatments are recommended to maintain skin condition. It's also effective to schedule sessions during seasonal transitions or when you notice skin roughness.

※Recommended schedules vary depending on skin type and treatment details. Please consult your physician for personalized advice.
